BETTY DAVIS EYES

On one of the coldest days of the year, Wilmington, Delaware wrapped itself in snow and silence—perfect conditions for a Noir photo shoot that demanded mood, mystery, and a touch of danger. Inside a modest Airbnb tucked off on a busy street, the world outside froze, but The Real Uni brought nothing but heat.
This session, built around a boudoir theme and inspired by the timeless allure of “Betty Davis Eyes,” unfolded like a scene from a lost black‑and‑white film. Uni May stepped into the frame with that unmistakable presence—half‑shadow, half‑siren—her gaze sharp enough to cut through the winter air. The cold didn’t stand a chance.
The Airbnb became our stage: frosted windows, creaking radiators, soft lighting bouncing off dark wood. Every corner offered a new pocket of drama. Uni May moved through it with the confidence of someone who knows exactly what her eyes can do to a Sony camera. The snowstorm outside only amplified the intimacy inside—two artists creating warmth in a world gone white.
What emerged was a series of images that feel both vintage and immediate: smoky, elegant, and charged with that signature Uni May energy. A modern muse channelling an old‑Hollywood spirit. A winter day transformed into a Noir dreamscape. A collaboration that proves that sometimes the coldest days produce the hottest work.
This shoot wasn’t just photography—it was a mood, a moment, and a reminder that true muses don’t retire. They just wait for the right call.
