DOLLS

As a photographer and director, I've always been fascinated by the mix of the real and the wonderful, as well as by fantasy.
I'm a big fan of directors Emir Kusturica and Tim Burton, and photographer Tim Walker.
So for the past 15 years, I have been shooting quite a few projects inspired by magic realism, but focusing on tight portraiture.
This year, I wanted to go a step further, broaden my scope and create a whole dollhouse set with Antoine.
We hunted for cake slices, macarons and a giant bottle at the Cinema's Ressourcerie (France). At the same time, I stumbled across a rusty tricycle abandoned on the sidewalk, perfect for my shoot.
Antoine turned second-hand platforms upside down in search of treasures, and that's when he came across Clémence, who specializes in eco-design for film shoots and was looking for buyers to donate some pretty incredible set sheets.
