Tell us something about yourself.What first got you into music?
My name is Mariahlynn and where I come from, music was my only way out.
Music saved my life.
How did you come to realise that music was the way forward for you?
I realized music was the way for me to go when I saw how much I would be able to provide for my family and also how much peace and happiness it would bring me.
Which famous musicians do you admire?
There are so many musicians I admire, growing up I would listen to lots of Hiphop and R&B, Pop, Spanish, Jersey club and more. My favorites are Jay-Z, Brittney Spears, Madonna,
Remy Ma, Lil' Kim, Jadakiss, Eminem, and more.
What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?
Who I was in my past I grew out of that and we all have that time in our life where we don’t always make the best decisions.
What is the best advice you’ve been given?
The best advice I’ve been given is to read all your paperwork and don’t ever do something because it makes someone else happy, make your happiness a priority.
If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be?
Racism
What’s next for you? Where is your career heading? What's the vision?
What’s next for me is living in the full glory of what my brand had to offer. I’m headed to greatness and to where I belong … at the top.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years ?
In 5 years I see my self standing on a Grammy stage, making a difference in communities that are in need and possibly starting my own family.
